Requisition Number: 33875 Job Title: PROJECT POLICY ANL 3 Working Title: Manager of Operations & Events Salary: $4,283 – $10,400 monthly Job Type: Career Department Name: 0250-LAW Department Website URL: https://law.ucla.edu/academics/degrees/jd-program/specializations/jd-specialization-public-interest-law-policy Job Summary Statement: Under the general direction of the Associate Dean of Public Interest Law, the Manager of Operations & Events is responsible for developing and tracking operational and event-specific budgets; overseeing the execution of at least 65 events per year, including the Annual Southern California Public Interest/Public Sector Career Day (PICD), one of the nation’s largest career fairs of its kind; directing the work or program staff, including the hiring, training, and onboarding of specific staff and coordinating daily workflow; administering UCLA Law’s Summer Public Service Fellowship Program; managing departmental communications, such as event marketing on social media platforms, regular updates to key stakeholders, and solicitation e-mails to donors; presenting information about PICD and summer funding opportunities to UCLA Law students and non-UCLA Law students and employers participating in PICD and UCLA Law’s Summer Public Service Fellowship Programs; developing and strengthening the department’s relationship with key stakeholders; and administering the Public Interest Law and Policy academic specialization and its transfer admissions process in close collaboration with the Executive and Faculty Directors of the David J. Epstein Program in Public Interest Law and Policy.
