Manager of Design- Remote

Description The Manager of Design works under the Vice President of Creative Operations and is responsible for managing a team of designers and creatives.

As manager, you will help create and develop assets such as presentations for our market research team, paid media assets, brochures, print ads, etc.

A qualified manager candidate should be creative with strong leadership, communication, and multitasking skills.

Key Areas of Responsibility Assisting the VP with overseeing a creative team by providing guidance and management on various projects Manage creative staff and freelance to ensure their work meets the agency standards, including the ability to clearly articulate feedback and provide constructive oversight that elevates the creative product Guide teams through creative concepting, execution and delivery in accordance with departmental processes Assure that creative work meets client objectives, follows strategies aligned to the brief and meets deadlines on budget Collaborate with Account Executives and Project Managers to identify questions and pertinent project information needed to execute assignments Know all pertinent industry, channel, client, or product information, such as product benefits, offers, brand standards and production specifications Responsible for current knowledge and understanding of emerging trends and technologies and the ability to institute best practices Manages Direct Report(s), while embodying Brado’s “In Service to Others” manager best practices, specifically the key tenets of Accessibility, Empowerment & Developing Others Requirements Bachelor’s degree in related field 4 years managing creative services and direct reports in a marketing agency or a combination of agency/vendor side experience Must have strong graphic design, digital display, print, and social media work Superior strategic thinking and creative skills (visual and conceptual) Ability to meet deadlines and juggle multiple projects Self-motivation and a positive interaction with a wide range of individuals is expected Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite; must be highly skilled in Photoshop, In-Design, Illustrator and Adobe Animate Moderate knowledge of Microsoft Office and project management tools Broad understanding of typography, color theory, current design trends Aligns with our values: People, Commitment, Aspiration, Trustworthiness & Impact Demonstrates these Brado-specific hard & soft skills: Agile, Bold, Innovative, Curious, Empathetic, Teamwork, Self-starter, Verbal & Written Communication, Creative Thinking
