In collaboration with the planning and allocation partners, ad hoc requests will be supported on an on-going basis, with this position reporting into the Sr Director of Allocation.Responsibilities:* Lead total company DC to Store flow planning, advanced analytics and reporting.* Develop analytic tools to evaluate and manage sales and product performance* Perform analysis of SKU and historical product performance to influence optimal store assortments* Analyze actual business performance relative to forecast and trends, reporting variances to demand forecast.* Provide item level store clustering, ensuring alignment to assortment and space goals.* Propose action plans to capitalize on opportunities and mitigate risks* Run weekly, monthly, and ad hoc reporting to evaluate product and category performance* Monitor total inventory levels and coordinate with Sr Director of Allocation to adjust targets and address issues.* Monitor shifts in demand on key global projects to identify risks and opportunities for current stock, incoming product flow, and future buys* Coordinate with Planning team to place purchase orders, confirm delivery dates, and manage inventory flow to stores for key global merchandising initiatives* Collaborate with cross functional teams inclusive of but not limited to, space planning, marketing, and logistics, in support of allocation for key global merchandise initiatives.* Support Store Renovation and new Store Openings* Lead the Market Intensification initiative for the allocation team* Manage the Transfer of good between distribution centers* Maintain system settings in support of global merchandise initiatives such as MAP and Seasonal sets.* Act as systems expert for data reporting (SQL, Power BI, SAP Analysis, and Excel based reports) Abide to the Code of Business Conduct and Ethics Policy.* Ensure compliance with internal controls as applicable to your function within the organization.Requirements:* BA/BS college degree or commensurate work experience* Prior experience in merchandising, planning and analysis* 3+ years of analytical/planning experience in a wholesale or retail environment* Proficient with Microsoft Access, Excel and PowerPoint* Strong analytical skills including demonstrated aptitude with financial analysis and ability to generate insight from large and complex data sets* Strong communication skills including the ability to effectively articulate viewpoint to executive leadership and ability to write compelling executive level presentations* Ability to effectively handle multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.* Strong financial acumen including experience with the retail and cost methods of accounting* Ability to get results despite a large workload, competing demands and working in a fast-paced environment* Ability to effectively prioritize multiple demands, adjust to change quickly and work constructively under pressure* Ability to structure nebulous projects and to work constructively under tight deadlines* Strong and above average Excel skills. (Index Functions, Pivot Tables, Etc)* Proficient understanding of the stores need, system capability and company directives* Ability to work in fast paced environment
