JOB DESCRIPTION FOX Sports is searching for a Digital Research Manager to join their team in Los Angeles. As the Digital Research Manager, you will be responsible for providing reporting, examination, and insights to FOX Sports Digital properties across platforms including, FOX Sports O&O properties (FS.com, FS App, FOX Now), Non-O&O properties (NFL, Amazon) and social platforms (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram). You will also be tasked with being the specialist in social insights and identifying opportunities to further improve the social media and video strategy. In addition, you may be asked to provide a wide range of other reporting that includes but not limited to, third-party competitive data, consumer insights, audience profiling, market/industry research, TV ratings, and ad campaign performance. In addition to standard deliverables, you will manage ad-hoc sales requests from stakeholders including, brand partnerships, sales, account management, and video content producers. A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES * Prepare and distribute reporting deliverables and presentations * Ideate and create client-facing reports and one-sheets including identifing ways for data to be presented in digestible formats for non-data people * Ensure all presentations and reports are based on consistent, current data. This may include creation of templated report interfaces for use within other teams, and automation of existing and new reports for increased efficiency * Act as a “consultant” to groups within the business by providing data and insights in order to drive strategic judgment-making * Liaise with other FOX digital, research, and sales groups * Manage relationships with other FOX groups, including CPE, Sales, PR, and content, in order to maintain alignment in sports digital reporting and narrative * Collaborate closely with DSAS and Ad Ops to ensure proper analytics tracking in Adobe and Tableau, as well campaign and demo tracking within Nielsen DAR * Research trends within the social media, internet, streaming, advertising and sports industries * Assist Directors with research projects, including but not limited to calculating audience growth and traffic projections for business development initiatives, creation of sales materials, quarterly presentations, and upfront preparation and evaluation of research applications and reporting solutions/services WHAT YOU WILL NEED * 4+ years of experience in digital media, market research, and advertising industries * Advanced experience working with analytics tools and third-party research applications such as Adobe Analytics, Tableau, Nielsen, comScore, MRI, and social analytics tools * Technical knowledge of how data is extracted and the ability to forecast results with limited information * Exceptional written, listening, and verbal communication skills * Strong investigative and critical thinking skills * Excellent interpersonal skills NICE TO HAVE BUT NOT A DEAL BREAKER * Understanding of survey writing and analytical reporting * Bachelor’s degree We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, gender identity, disability, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
