The role:
Golden Hippo is currently looking for a Manager, Digital Acquisition Marketing who will be responsible for leading a team to be experts in direct to consumer marketing, responsible for managing digital advertising campaigns to acquire new customers all while fostering a collaborative work environment.
What Your Day-to-Day Will Look Like:
- Manage a team within the direct buy department, and hiring as needed to develop direct buy team
- Partner with Direct Buy Director to establish departmental goals and strategy
- Managerial duties include approving team advertising buys, mentorship, and serving as subject-matter expert in digital marketing
- Discover, contact, negotiate, and close contracts with new traffic sources to grow company spend and revenue
- Manage, optimize and grow media buys through budgeting, creative testing, optimization, and performance
- Track/update funnels based on split test wins and create funnels based on optimizations
- Manage internal stakeholders and external partners
- Perform other duties as assigned
The Best Candidates Will Have:
- 3+ years performance based digital marketing experience
- Experience managing 6 figure monthly marketing budgets
- Proven track record of building, developing, and leading a team
- Experience managing external marketing partners (publishers/websites/agencies)
- Strong negotiation skills with a proven track record of closing deals
- Experience analyzing and reporting data in order to identify issues, trends, or exceptions to drive improvement of results and find solutions
- Exceptional people management skills including hiring, training, delegation, and performance
management - Detail oriented and exceptional at managing projects with the ability to organize, prioritize, and
structure workload
