Manager, Commercial Operations

Overview The Patient Services Operations Manager (PSOM) role is a critical component of the patient services team.

Reporting to Sr.

Operations Manager, the PSOM will assist the patient services team in ensuring that the data and processes are accurate and efficient.

The PSOM will assist in the day-to-day operations of the organization, including supporting all product launches, CRM enhancements, training, data analysis, and vendor support.

Key Responsibilities Assist with managing, prioritizing, developing, and training on CRM backlog enhancements Assist in writing and deploying enhancement requirements Assist Sr.

Operations Manager in writing SOPs, when applicable Coordinate and assist in managing daily vendor communications and weekly calls Manage CRM data cleanup using daily, weekly, and monthly reports Support reporting and analytics needs through ad hoc reporting in CRM Enter and maintain accurate data on patients, their insurance, and all patient and provider interactions Assist in the operations of all department initiatives Backup the Operations Specialist, as needed, in maintaining workflow of clearing, sorting and distribution of incoming faxes Perform clerical and administrative functions such as mailing and faxing correspondence, data entry, etc.

Submit jobs to CRB system for legal and compliance review and approval Exhibits exceptional internal and external customer service skills Adheres to all department SOPs Assist in delivering and distributing weekly and monthly operational reports Work collaboratively with IT, Marketing, Case Management team, Medical Information, Patient Education Liaison team and Field Reimbursement team on selected initiatives critical to the US Commercial organization Identify areas for improvement within US Patient Services and Channel team for standardization, process improvements and opportunities for automation Ensures compliance with all corporate and industry policies in collaboration with Alnylam Legal, Regulatory and Compliance Qualifications Bachelor’s degree required 3-5 years recent project management experience in the healthcare or pharmaceutical/biotech industry preferred.

Ultra-rare disease experience a plus.

Solid understanding of the healthcare environment specifically insurance policies Excellent project management skills with demonstrated ability to lead multiple projects and priorities Advanced knowledge and application of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.) Data analysis experience including creating graphs, charts and slides to portray data Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems (Salesforce, Veeva, etc.) Ability to communicate with impact, verbally and in writing with all levels of management Results oriented, self-organized and self-starter with a proven track record of results Experience working in cross-functional teams and effective in influencing without authority Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities Desire to innovate and work in a fast-paced, energetic environment Self-starter who is highly passionate about rare disease and Alnylam’s core values: Commitment to People, Innovation, Discovery, Sense of Urgency, Open Culture, and Passion for Excellence.
