– 12:00 PM PTWe are seeking a highly motivated candidate to provide oversight of our claims staff.
The Manager II Claims is responsible for the overall management of the fast-growing claim department and direct supervision of the claim staff.Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:* Establishes departmental policies and procedures.* Audits/monitors efficiency and compliance with policies.* Prepares specialized reports.* Serves as subject matter expert for other areas of the company as well as within the department.* Provides policyholder relationship management.* Manages operational risk.* May be accountable for deliverables of a third party or vendor.* Manages multiple functions requiring unique sets of knowledge or has significant fiscal accountability over and above routine people/equipment costs.* Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports.QualificationsWhat You Contribute:Requires BA/BS; 3 years previous management experience and 2-3 years claims experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.What We Have to Offer:We offer a range of market-competitive total rewards that include merit increases, paid holidays, Paid Time Off, and incentive bonus programs (unless covered by a collective bargaining agreement), medical, dental, vision, short and long term disability benefits, 401(k) +match, stock purchase plan, life insurance, wellness programs and financial education resources, to name a few.Anthem, Inc.
