Manager, Accounts Payable

The newly created AP Manager, will report to the Controller and will manage end-to-end AP/vendor payment cycle.

In this critical role, the AP manager will partner cross-functionally with internal teams and vendors to ensure bills and expenses are paid accurately and timely in compliance with Company’s policies and procedures.

The AP Manager will seek to develop the capabilities of the Accounts Payable team, through process improvements and implementation of task automation solutions to ensure departments’ highest level of customer service.

Responsibilities: Supervise the entire A/P process from PO origination to Bill approval and payment Manage all aspects of workflow associated with the timely and accurate processing of payments Maintain SOX compliant internal control practices and procedures as they relate to the AP function Participate in the month-end close process; provide timely accruals and reconciliations of the AP ledger Provide support to the Controller by participating in quarterly reviews and annual audits Prepare 1099 reporting in compliance with IRS rules and regulations.

Develop and maintain Company’s expense reimbursement policies Provide leadership and oversight to ensure expenditures are compliant with the Company’s policy Deliver a high level of customer service to internal and external customers.

Train and evaluate employees to enhance their performance, development and work product.

Drive innovation and automation through technology solutions.

Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or related field with a 5 years of relevant work experience.

Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

Exceptional written and verbal communications skills.

Strong organization skills with close attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to work independently, follow up, and follow through on tasks with minimal direction.

Sense of urgency with demonstrated ability to meet deadlines.
