Position Summary: R esponsible for the Warehousing and Logistics support contracts supporting Final Assembly Line operations within US Manufacturing Site Mobile.
The position is accountable for the overall performance of the Logistics Service Provider (LSP) to include all means of managing warehouse inventory on-site and off-site warehousing locations.
The Logistics Services Manager (LSM) is the primary leader responsible for driving Logistics Service Provider (LSP) contracted performance in inventory accuracy for all single isle program materials and the On-time delivery at Takt to each associated Flowline.
The LSM is the primary focal point for interpreting, defining, drafting and editing policy and change requests to LSP contractual documents.
Primary Responsibilities: 1.
Oversee LSP contracts and performance and manages all aspects of inventory in excess of $25M : 50 % Accountable for LSP compliance to regulatory obligations and fully empowered to represent local Airbus Logistics Operations.
There is a functional link to the OTOL organization for EU alignment on 3PL operations Coordinates with Planning and Logistics Operations teams to ensure contracts provide sufficient capacity to meet forecasted demand, and to establish supplier scorecards and recognition programs 2.
Serve as primary organizational contact during contract negotiations with 3PL operations : 35 % Interface with Procurement Team in EU for contractual disputes, claims, and additional requirements based on risk assessments Engage Operational Program stakeholders in negotiation decisions involving operational performance requirements, contract standards and cost targets Develop and execute negotiation strategies that minimize financial losses and benefit each program’s and US Manufacturing Site Mobile’s financial performance Maintain deadlines on deliverables and communicate on an ongoing basis with business partners and internal clients about contractual issues Review contractual performance of LSP to ensure compliance with terms and to identify conflicts or changes requiring resolution at contract renewal Additional Responsibilities: Other duties as assigned: 15 % Scope change requests Service Level Agreements & relevant KPI’s Financial forecast & objectives for LSP activities Action plans to comply with Regulatory obligations Risk management plan with recovery plan and escalation Daily Control of LSP performance & service level using Airbus Operating System (AOS) standards Proposals for Logistics/Warehousing improvements, analysis and decisions on customer’s requests to be developed by LSP LSP contributions to internal AOS projects and LEAN Warehousing principles Contribution to the definition of tools, method and processes to manage the LSP in collaboration with OTT Customer satisfaction monitoring & action plan implementation Qualified Experience / Skills / Training: Education: BA or BS degree in Business Management (or other associated discipline) from an accredited college or university.

The position is accountable for the overall performance of cross docking, storing, delivering on-time to the FAL, and inventory accuracy in excess of $25M.
Inventory management in excess of $25M and 3PL contracts in excess of $10M (Annual spend) Dock to stock performance, picking accuracy, audit accuracy, inventory accuracy, on-time delivery takt Accountable for LSP compliance to regulatory obligations and fully empowered to represent local Airbus Logistics Operations for their associated program.
Nature of Contacts: Maintain all required standards for contracts, including presentation of budget, payment terms, general language and provisions in conjunction with the Procurement organization in EU Physical Requirements: Vision: adequate to enter and read material on computer screens.
