Launch Manager

Our expanding company is seeking to hire a Launch Manager to grow our footprint nationally.

Reporting to the Head of Launch, the Launch Manager will project manage the successful acquisition, build-out, set-up and launch of new darkstores near dynamic college communities.

The Launch Manager will be given a list of desired locations and asked to make it happen on time, and under budget.

The Launch Manager will work hand-in-hand with Real Estate to source, negotiate, sign, and improve new locations based on Duffl’s strategic expansion plan.

Further, the Launch Manager will ensure each store is set-up for turn-key operations by launch day, to include 100% commercial set-up, to include branding and employee amenities.

A successful Launch Manager is a consummate doer.

You love rolling up your sleeves and getting into the nitty gritty.

You pay attention to the details, but never let perfection be the enemy of great.

You don’t mind traveling, working independently, and with significant ambiguity.

Responsibilities

  • Negotiating and improving new real estate
  • Project managing multiple launches simultaneously
  • Initiating supply chain activity 
  • Building a loving community by supporting recruiting, hiring and training of new store staff
  • Working with the growth team to kickstart marketing activity

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience, preferably in expansion or launch
  • Some real estate experience preferred
  • U.S.

    Work Authorization

  • Willingness to travel 50%+ of the time
