Executive Vice President (EVP)

The role of the EVP, Managing Partner lead the Business Solutions team on a portfolio of clients in delivering industry leading service in all key areas, including marketing/media, consumer and channel insights, creative and effective channel planning, buy implementation and analysis, and account stewardship.  This individual will use their knowledge of media platforms and strategies to ensure a comprehensive marketing/media approach to plan development – and to bring forth thought leadership and innovation.

As part of the Senior Leadership Team, the EVP, Managing Partner, will focus on business growth, client service, and business strategy for the company. This position reports directly to the President, West Coast Region.

30% Client Service/Relationship

  • Lead client related initiatives, with emphasis on product and experience innovation
  • Develop ‘client experience’ framework/strategy to impact approach to client service that always positions us ahead of client needs
  • Provide thought leadership to ultimately inspire new products, new services and new ways of doing business
  • Manage client satisfaction, growth, retention and ensure exceptional experience in all client/agency interaction
  • Ability to strategically identify and persuasively sell in incremental solutions/capabilities to drive organic growth
  • Provide high level strategic counsel to all clients and prospects
  • Drive increased innovation and enhance product offerings

25% Business Strategy

  • Shepherd the right resources around a client challenge and provide incremental leadership as needed
  • Approach client challenges from a broader business perspective, beyond media
  • Brings powerful thought leadership to consult on complex issues and applies new media and technology into ensure final product is best-in-class
  • Oversee multiple client teams of omni channel media professionals on day-to-day responsibilities is training and development reporting business lead
  • Facilitate innovation and motivate change
  • Keep teams performing at their peak
  • Ensures best practices are applied across account disciplines

25% Business Growth

  • Accelerate new and organic business growth
  • Active responsibility in New Business either in sourcing or providing leadership in new business pitches
  • Increase client handling capacity across every touchpoint of new business process
  • Work with the President of the West Coast to develop the marketing strategy for the company inclusive of potential clients, consultants and the industry at large
  • Create innovative approach to new business
  • Design a seamless/successful onboarding best practice for new accounts to ensure client satisfaction throughout

10% – Operations

  • Holistic account oversight
  • Problem solving
  • Partner with SVP on staffing needs and plans
  • Responsible for agency revenue and profitability
  • Provide input for team members’ performance reviews, coaching to maximize success. Conduct performance review for direct reports.

10% Relationship Management

  • Develop and maintain relationships with key leaders across various company departments, in order to collaborate and lead conversations for your client
  • Collaborate with partner and creative agencies to offer clients holistic business solutions

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • 15+ years in media planning experience
  • Experience across multiple business verticals, including entertainment experience
  • High level of comfort presenting to clients and internal team members
  • Significant experience working and collaborating with cross-agency teams to build integrated product across paid touchpoints
  • Proven track record with client relations and growing business
  • Understanding of marketing and communications process; Planning, buying, managing, and optimizing across all channels (directly and/or consulting)
  • Digitally Savvy: Demonstrates passion about emerging media and can apply to comprehensive product
