As the Project Manager, your comprehension of accounting functions and systems will be essential. You will guide Business Analysts creating requirements documentation and developing new methods of data mapping to accounting systems for the most efficient accounting and reporting of transactions. The Project Manager will also aid the accounting leadership team and other key participants in the accounting process, ensuring that their input and feedback is incorporated into key initiatives. We are looking for someone to help us keep our financial projects on schedule. This long-term temporary employment opportunity is based in the Los Angeles, California area.What you get to do every single day- Creates and works on work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans and status reports, issue management and risk mitigation- Launches governance approaches for the projects to result in consistent and clear communication as well as issue resolution- Coordinates priorities of concurrent project and support assignments, in addition to meeting stakeholder expectations- Teams up with development staff to examine business requirements and business process design- Manages project sponsor expectations and deciphers business drivers, as well as recommends changes, when necessary, to project scope, timing, or resources to deliver strategic solutionsKey responsibilities include:• Responsible for the management, planning, scheduling, and budget of multiple projects.• Provide technical oversight and design review for project team members, ensuring that project schedules and budgets are met.• Review, process, obtain, and negotiate entitlements and the costs of mitigation measures and approvals for development with cities, counties and other government entities.• Identify land use restrictions and opportunities.Job Requirements:• Strong engineering judgement with hands-on experience and technical skills in land development design.• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering• 5+ Years in Civil Engineering design experience, specializing in Land Development• 3+ years’ experience in managing civil engineering projects• Proficiency with AutoCAD• Experience in preparing proposals as well as maintaining projects deadlines and budget• Excellent technical, verbal and written communication skills• Ability to multitask and work on several projects concurrentlyRobert Half Management Resources matches senior-level financial consultants with remote or on-site jobs for interim and long-term opportunities in areas such as internal auditing, mergers and acquisitions, tax initiatives, and much more.
