The lab supervisor is the top position in the lab and is ultimately the person responsible for all
aspects of production and quality control. They will communicate with top level management to
set and maintain production schedules and quotas. This individual will be a leader in the lab and
will need good management skills to help create a motivating, fun and inclusive work
environment. They will need to be able to have an attention for detail while also considering the
bigger picture and goals of the company as a whole.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Set production schedules
Make sure weekly and monthly production quotas are met
Track all production via METRC and a third party software if applicable
Help in production to make both ice water hash and rosin when needed
Lead the team through example
Set team member schedules
Enforce strict quality control
Make sure all equipment is cleaned and maintained on a regular basis
Keep track of supplies and re-order when necessary
Understand and be familiar with all S.O.P.s used in the lab.
Maintain a working knowledge of cannabis as a whole
Identify and investigate new trends in the industry.
