-Quality control
-Supervise staff and work the line regularly during service hours
-Oversee maintenance, cleaning, and organization of all BOH equipment and storage areas
-Help hire and on-board new BOH staff
-Oversee inventory, ordering, and prep schedule
-Seasonal menu updates and specials
-Communicate with FOH staff about menu offerings and changes The ideal candidate offers: -Strong skills and a passion for working with seafood, including raw preparations
-Experience with inventory, recipe costing, and ordering protocols. We use software for this purpose and will provide basic training for its usage.
-Experience managing a small team
-Experience interviewing and training staff
-Proficiency working on and overseeing expo, sautee station, meat slicer, ovens, and food processor
– Note that we do not have a grill or fryer 🙂 This position offers a competitive salary, DOE, paid vacation after 6 months, and plenty of potential for growth.
