The Key Account manager has an understanding of HVAC products, market trends and sales potential. The Key Account Manager responsibilities include planning, maintaining, organizing, and growing sales through, calling on dealers with key accounts and markets, conflict management, delivering and administering sales programs, open houses, and product training, generating, and following up on leads. The Kay Account Manager contributes to the growth of our customer base and increasing market share while meeting the Company’s objective and sales targets. Responsibilities:

May include:

Sales development; calling on dealers with key account and market, conflict management, delivery/administer programs, open houses and product training.
Sales Training and programming management. “Millionaires” meetings, Customer, Dealer Events, and manufacturing facility tours etc.
Administrative – program claims, AsureCare, and maintain customer files and document activities /visits within CRM.
Provides information and assistance to key management as it pertains to customer requirements:
New Products
Marketing programs
Distribution
Evaluates the results of sales programs and directs appropriate actions in attaining sales goals.
Monitor and analyze current sales trends and competitive activity and identify opportunities to increase the Company’s sales to become the leader in the HVAC industry.
Maintain in person ongoing contact with National Accounts including providing workflow process training regularly.
Perform additional projects/duties to support ongoing business needs

Grow sales volume/revenue within assigned accounts and territories
Qualifications:

Knowledge & Skills:

Strong market and industry knowledge of HVAC products and services
Solid business understanding- specifically related to communicating with both clients as well as internal team members.
Proficient sales ability with the ability to build and act on a robust sale plan.
Strong relationship building and customer service skills with the ability to generate new business through negotiating and carrying out a sale plan.
Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
Effective negotiation and conflict management skills
Ability to use good judgement and strong work ethics and integrity on the job.
Strategic thinking with the ability to strategically plan.
Effective organizational skills and time management skills.
Ability to work well and produce professional quality deliverables under tight time constraints.
Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
Strong working knowledge with MS Office; Outlook, Power Point, Excel and Word and database applications/platforms such as CRM, expense reporting, etc

Experience:

3 plus years of account management experience within the HVAC industry
Experience working in complex business environments and on high-pressure, fast-paced projects in a collaborative team setting

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.

Pay Grade:

$90,000.00 – $113,000.00
