Position Summary:The Director, Partnership Development will work on both integrated media and the Team Multi-Media Rights (MMR) business.

The AE is directly in charge of generating new or incremental revenue through sales of integrated media and non-media assets (teams, arenas, and stadiums across the sport verticals) of MLB, NBA, and NHL-as well as our college conference rights in Pac-12, Big Ten, and Big East.

This individual will focus on client-direct sales efforts to secure multi-year sponsorships and will work collaboratively with Home Team Sports Media and Impression Sports & Entertainment sales groups.

The Director, Partnership Development will successfully establish relationships through client direct contact and at senior levels of sports marketing agencies, by articulating and prophesizing the Home Team Sports and the Team MMR value proposition.

This individual will partner, collaborate, ideate, prospect, strategize, target, and execute sales plans with VP of Creative Partnerships, VP of Partnership Activation, VP of Sales Pricing & Strategy, and VP of Sales Insights, with the sole accountability for new non-media revenue generation for Home Team Sports, and achieving overall individual, team, quarterly, and annual budgeting parameters (as assigned by the VP of Sales for MMR).

The Director, Partnership Development will be expected to utilize the latest prospecting tools, research data, market, sponsorship, and media knowledge, along with superior presentation skills to articulate and monetize concepts, in order to generate revenue from new, traditional and non-traditional sources.

Essential Functions: * This position is directly responsible for generating new or incremental revenue, through a dedicated team with points of contact at client direct or senior levels contact at sports marketing agencies, articulating and prophesizing the Pro Team value proposition.* Partners, collaborates, ideates, prospects, strategizes, targets, and executes sales plans with other VP’s of sales, VP of Creative Partnerships, VP of Sales Pricing & Strategy, and VP of Sales Insights with the sole accountability of new revenue generation for HTS.* This individual will also be responsible for managing HTS sales efforts and achieving budgeted accountabilities for specific sports verticals or product categories assigned by the VP Sales, Team Multimedia Rights (MMR)* Utilizes all available systems and reporting tools to ensure transparency and accountability to VP Sales, Team Multimedia Rights (MMR)* Develop and build new concepts, cross-sales platforms, and promotional opportunities* Ensure optimal market coverage by participating in client activities, trade association events and socials, and any ancillary activities that can assist in better visibility and revenue growth Requirements: * Bachelor’s degree required (preference in Sports Media, Communications, Marketing or related fields).* Minimum of 7+ years’ experience in business development in an Advertising Sales capacity.* Experience in Team Sponsorship and Sports Arena Sales is a plus* Must have interest and knowledge of the sports industry and sponsorship sports sales.* Demonstrated ability to develop relationships with high-level clientele is required.* Proven track record of innovative strategy development and ad revenue generation and/or support.* Must be a strategic thinker and possess an entrepreneurial mindset.* Superior public speaking and persuasive presentation skills* Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary.* Experience using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, Revenue Generation systems, Custom Show, Wide Orbit is a plus.
