IT Project Manager (Hybrid)

Job Description An IT Project Manager is responsible for providing project planning and management for established initiatives within a company by collaborating and partnering with business and technology leaders.

They ensure that projects are completed to specification, within an established time frame and budget.

The IT Project Manager is the lead subject matter expert within the company regarding technology concerns for a given initiative and use their industry expertise to improve all aspects of project planning and resource management.

A bit more about what you will do: Responsible for providing leadership, management, and coordination of highly visible, multi-stakeholder projects.

Demonstrate ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders, business customers, executives, and IT partners (technical and non-technical audiences) Lead the project or initiative to a successful implementation, being the main point of contact and direct responsible for the outcome Analyze, plan and develop requirements and standards in reference to scheduled projects or initiatives Set and track project milestones; manages and accounts for unforeseen delays, then realigns schedules and expectations as needed Assign and oversee the daily tasks of technical personnel while ensuring all team members are actively working toward established milestones Hold regular technical team meetings to determine progress and address any questions or challenges regarding projects Determine and define clear deliverables, roles and responsibilities for team members required for specific projects or initiatives Research and evaluate hardware and software technology options and weigh the cost/benefit analysis when making large purchases on behalf of the company Provide regular project status meetings, ongoing updates, and reporting with steering committee and/or key stakeholders in alignment with PMO requirements Populate, assist with and/or create materials including issues log, risk mitigation log, PowerPoint presentations, workflow charts, end-user training guides, etc.

Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer or Project Management or related technical field required, Master’s degree is desirable 5 years of hands-on experience managing IT projects Expert working with Agile Scrum methodologies Expert working with project management tools (e.g.

MS Project, Jira) Able to mix waterfall methodology with Agile.

Professional Project Management or Scrum Master Certification is preferred Demonstrated understanding of Project Management Best Practices Excellent time management and organizational skills and experience establishing guidelines in these areas for others Strong sense of personal accountability regarding decision-making and supervising project teams Experience working in a high-level collaborative environment and promoting a teamwork mentality Experience applying analytical thinking and problem-solving skills Ability to predict challenges and seek to proactively head-off obstacles is desired Previous development experience (e.g.

JavaScript, SQL, and Python) Additional Information AIR offers attractive total compensation packages designed to recognize and reward performance at the individual, team, and company levels.

We start with a competitive base salary and add bonus opportunities and benefit choices topped off with: Expected pay of $90,000
– $110,000.

You will be provided a pay rate that is in line with your skills and experience as they relate to the requirements of the job.
