Information Technology Manager
(Digital, Media, Entertainment – Direct Hire)
Responsibilities:
- Lead the technology department for innovation, support and team management
- Participate in strategic planning and implementation regarding technology
- Collaborate with IT leadership on overall technology solutions
- Evaluate and integrate hardware, software, and workflow upgrades
- Mentor, encourage and manage a diverse IT team
- Ensure all systems are operational and supported for the Production teams
- Align, develop and encourage best practices/policies
- Oversee all production Backup, Disaster Recovery planning and Testing
Qualifications Desired:
- BS in Computer Science, Information Systems or combination of experience/education
- Several years of IT leadership experience in supporting a production environment
- Experience with Virtualization, VMware, Vsphere
- Enterprise level storage support experience, Isilon, Qmulo or Stornext is a plus
- Strong experience with Windows, OSX or Linux platforms
- Active Directory, O365 and Cloud-based systems (AWS)
- Familiarity in supporting 2D and 3D artists and graphic designers is a plus
