Information Security Program Manager

This role reports to Group IS Manager.

As an Information Security Program Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of multiple cross-functional and cross-cultural programs/projects, ensuring co-ordination, resource management, stakeholder/sponsor communications, reporting and financial management.

Your responsibilities Project / Program Management: Owns and manages Information Security initiatives, strategic and transformational (change leadership).

Ensures critical project and program management skills and competences are existing within IS or via partners.

Provides simple and efficient Strategic Project Management Office (PMO) services across a complex and changing organization.

Strategy: Contributes to the Electrification (EL) InfoSec Strategy and sets and drives directions for EL led Programs and Change services.

Contributes in Strategic Programs/Projects and Negotiations and sets appropriate standards for strategic programs execution.

Build Services: Ensures Information Security Programs and Change Leadership Services are delivered in time, budget, scope and quality and in line with IS and ABB Strategy.

Responsible for the Strategic Programs Portfolio Management across all EL (either group or EL led).

Provides guidance, consultancy and knowledge to IS and ABB about the planning and the delivery of services in scope.

Service Delivery: Ensures the successful implementation utilizing internal Information Security de-livery units as well as external 3rd party suppliers.

Takes sponsorship/accountability for specific programs and negotiations within ABB.

Best Practice & Knowledge sharing: Manages a library of lessons learned to share, leverage and build on the knowledge within IS.

Defines, manages and communicates a library of relevant IS Strategic Programs (tools, handbooks, templates, guides etc.) across ABB IS to safeguard an efficient, standardized and reliable execution of activities and engagements.

Internal Controls: Ensures work in the delivery domain department is compliant with all applicable ABB Regulations and ABB Group Guidelines.

Ensures all internal controls are diligently followed and supervised in all departments.

Governance: Defines and manages organization and services governance, aligning responsibilities and accountabilities with internal and external stakeholders.

Executes all actions in IS processes according to agreed Responsible, Accountable, Consulted, Informed (RACI) specification.

Defines and manages the metrics needed to deliver strategic initiatives.

Stakeholder Management: Aligns executive stakeholders across multiple divisions and acts as advisor and guide to the IS organization, all business functions, and/or external vendors and consulting firms.

Assures stakeholders’ satisfaction through proactive effective two-way communication and resolves cross-organization dependency issues and problems swiftly.

Solicits advice, support, champions, sponsors and commitment for the success of initiatives.

Builds both formal and informal professional networks, and extends these net-works within, across and external to organizational boundaries.

People Leadership: Manages and leads a virtual team in a cross-cultural environment.

Ensures (with HR Manager support and as the case may be with Capabilities) that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled and directed.

Guides, motivates and develops direct and indirect subordinates within HR policies, for the benefit of both ABB and the employee.

Your background Master’s degree in computer science, information systems, business administration, engineering or a related field, or Bachelors degree and equivalent work experience.

Requires 10 or more years of relevant experience in Information Technology (IT).

Project Management/Change Management certifications (e.g.

Prosci, ITIL, PMP.

Prince2, Agile etc.) would be advantageous.

Security Certifications (CISSP, CISM, OSCP etc.) and/or Auditor certifications (ISO 27001 auditor, CISA etc.) as well as good knowledge of ITIL processes are desirable Experience with and deep knowledge of change management/transformations/PMO (ideally more than 3 years).

Very good experience in program and project delivery methodology or frameworks.

Superior business acumen including a passion for industry trends, innovation and how other organizations are using them to drive digital business.

Outstanding stakeholder engagement and expectation management skills; proven ability to work effectively with all organizational levels, customer focused.

Hands-on approach to work, strong sense of ownership, accountability and problem-solving skills.

Demonstrated leadership, including virtual team leadership and organizational skills, in a cross-cultural environment.

Fluent in English (spoken and written), additional languages are an asset.

Experience in same businesses where ABB operates would be an advantage.

Experience of working in a non-native country and culture would be advantageous.

Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
