Mane is looking for an outgoing, entrepreneurial Influencer Marketing Manager to join the team in growing our paid and organic influencer and VIP relations programs in a meaningful way. You’ll feel confident in both 1:1 engagements and in large event settings strengthening Mane’s relationships with influencers of all community sizes – micro, mid, macro and powerhouse. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Collaborate on and execute influencer strategy that ladders up to business and department objectives to drive brand awareness, increase online share of voice, and garner community engagement with new and existing audiences.
Assess existing and recruit new relationships ongoing to drive the Mane brand story and reach new audiences, building brand advocacy and an engaged online community aligned with marketing and social media strategies.
Identify talent, negotiate contracts, manage content rights, share deliverables, track content creation timelines, and monitor performance of paid campaigns, working cross-functionally to share deliverables with social, digital and retail teams.
Provide reporting and analysis on influencer program performance as it ladders back to specific KPIs to inform future decision-making.
Identify & execute unique influencer ambassador opportunities across brand, social, digital and retail channels.
Keep your finger on the industry pulse and drive innovation within Mane’s programs, leveraging data to measure success of experimental programs.
On behalf of Mane, manage your own network of influencers whose audiences are within Mane’s target demographic; keep the brand top of mind through 1:1 touchpoints and IRLs
Help track and manage budget and invoicing to ensure that resources are allocated correctly and partners’ contracts are completed.
Execute a multi-pronged influencer strategy to meet the consumer where they are in the consumer journey from awareness to conversion.
Attend events and 1:1s regularly, identifying networking opportunities; some eventing and experiential support as needed.
Track and report on competitors, relevant influencer trends, platforms, and opportunities.
Requirements
5+ years of experience building brand influencer programs in-house or agency and the case studies to prove it
Brings a strong point of view to the table with an ability to think outside the traditional influencer landscape in order build new and exciting programs
Has a catalog of well-developed industry relationships that are eager to work with up-and-coming, emerging brands
Able to project manage multiple projects at once to meet tight deadlines and get buy-in from stakeholders
Experience working with Gen Z and Gen Alpha influencers
Experience integrating affiliates into an influencer program to drive bottom of funnel KPIs
Deep understanding of social media platforms and content distribution best practices
Experience negotiating and writing contracts for paid and earned partnerships required
Experience creating campaigns to drive different KPIs at select points of the consumer journey (ex: awareness vs. traffic)
Experience building a database within Tribe a plus
Some experience working with a retailer-based influencer program a plus
Strong analytical, writing, editing, and communication skills
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field required
