Our client, an A-rated Insurance Carrier, has continued to expand their presence in the Midwest/Gulf Coast regions and seeking to hire a Senior Commercial General Liability Claims Representative. This person would be responsible for handling moderate to complex Commercial General Liability claims including Slip and Falls, Premise Liability, and some Commercial Auto losses throughout the TN, MS, AR, and AL region. This includes reviewing coverage, investigation, and settling losses from inception to close. This person would have the ability to work remotely!
- Examine, adjust, and defend, general liability claims and lawsuits filed against insureds towards an amicable resolution.
- Handle a pending ranging from 100 110 losses.
- Review terms, conditions, and exclusions of the insurance policy to determine coverage.
- Conduct investigations of the facts and circumstances of the claim presented, securing necessary medical and other documentation of alleged damages, and negotiating settlements with claimants and attorneys.
- Make timely claims payments and adjustments; communicate claim action/processing with claimant and client.
- Ensure claim files are properly documented and claims coding is correct.
Requirements:
- 5 to 10+ years of Commercial General Liability claims experience.
- Must have experience working for an Insurance Carrier.
- Must be well versed in drafting coverage position letters.
- Must have experience handling claims in litigation.
- Active adjusters license is strongly preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Salary/Benefits:
- $85,000 to $100,000+ base salary plus up to a 11% Annual Bonus
