Position Overview
The role of the Digital Media Planner is to drive strategy, execution, optimization, and data analysis of key paid digital marketing channels to accelerate company growth. This position oversees lead generation efforts and media buying while ensuring on-going innovation and expansions across partnerships, team and technologies/platforms. These responsibilities include managing search engine marketing agency, media buying, publisher and third-party marketing relationships, and affiliate marketing efforts. This role includes the day-to-day management of key digital marketing channels including buying media, implementing campaigns, and optimizing for performance.
What Youll Be Doing
On-going planning and management of media budgets.
Develop strong partnership with product (website) team to partner on development, enhancements, evolution and optimizations of highly-trafficked landing pages for lead generation efforts.
Drive further innovation and industry best practices for cross-channel, cross-device marketing programs.
Oversee the digital marketing creative process to ensure content is conversion-optimized, on-brand and achieving the broader marketing objectives and strategies.
Lead publisher, technology, and agency partner relationships to ensure results are delivered in most efficient and effective way possible.
Aggressively pursue new partnership opportunities.
Execute campaign implementation, tracking, and optimization.
Analyze key marketing KPIs and lead optimization and action plan recommendations.
Develop team and build best-in-class operation
Monitor competitor media and identify new opportunities for Avoya.
Lead direct-to-publisher media buying including targeting, segmentation, campaign settings, campaign structure, and device type.
Manage publishing space on Avoya Travels domains: campaign implementation, tracking, and optimization.
Lead growth and expansion of in-house publishing team.
Maintain publisher relations and correspondence including, but not limited to placement optimizations, reporting discrepancies, and invoice requests.
Sounds Like A Good Fit? What It Takes To Be Successful
Bachelors Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or a similar field with related work experience desired
3+ years hands on experience working in paid marketing and media buying on agency or client side including management experience.
Strong interpersonal skills and experience collaborating with internal and vendor partners.
Strong analytical and reporting skills including measuring performance of all marketing campaigns and assessment against goals (ROI and KPIs).
Able to collaborate effectively with other employees and managers to ensure teamwork
Demonstrate experience of building, executing and optimizing marketing plans
Intermediate SEM experience (2-3 years)
Proficient Affiliate Marketing experience
Experience using different Marketing Platforms, including, but not limited to: Facebook Ad Manager, GAM, AdWords, Bing, Google Analytics
Certification in Google Ads
Knowledgeable of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics)
Demonstrates a passion and desire to understand and apply the latest trends and best practices in content marketing.
Exceptional level of detail-orientation and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Strong computer skills, including Excel
Able to collaborate effectively with other employees and managers to ensure teamwork
