About the Role As a member of the Global Communications team and reporting to the Global Head of PR and Media Relations, you will be in charge of developing and managing the relationships with Animals Asia’s high-profile supporters, influencers and ambassadors, and support the wider PR initiatives of the organization. Salary: Commensurate with Experience Influencer Responsibilities Research and identify appropriate high-profile talent and influencers who align with Animals Asia’s communications strategy and objectives Create and implement campaign-focused influencer engagement plans liaising with the global communications and fundraising teams Develop and manage relationships with the influencers, ambassadors and their representatives including agents, managers and publicists Create effective briefing packs for influencers, including key messages for use with media Track and report influencer management activities Utilize influencer platforms for future influencer recruitment and collaborations Support event management and logistics of influencer participation PR Responsibilities Support and implement campaign-focused PR plans Draft press releases Collate and edit multimedia material for media kits Answer journalist/ media enquiries Track and report media coverages via Meltwater platform Track and update media/ journalist contact lists via Muck Rack platform Track the latest news and journalists in our subject area, generate pitching ideas Work with in-house experts and spokespeople for media interviews Work and support the global communications team for media/ news related tasks Support Global Head of PR to coordinate and manage outsourced PR work, such as PR agencies Skills / Abilities High level written and spoken English skills Excellent research skills Press release writing and copywriting for multiple platforms Good interpersonal and relationship building skill Knowledge Global PR and Media landscape Keen interest in and knowledge of entertainment industry, contemporary actors, musicians, artists and cultural trends Knowledge of Animal Welfare issues desirable Experience Experienced PR professional – journalist or PR manager Experienced in working with high profile celebrities Experience in event coordination and International NGO experience desirable Languages English Chinese or Vietnamese desirable Education / Qualification Bachelor’s degree in communications, Journalism or comparable study or experience.
