Sr. Communications Manager-eTeam
Job Title: Sr. Manager Communications
Location: Universal City, CA (HYBRID – Tue, Wed, Thu in Office)
Duration: 7 Months
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum of 7-12 years of experience in entertainment and/or games public relations and communications, some of which must be in consumer products, entertainment, or large CP franchise brands
 - Minimum of 3-5 years in an in-house (Company) communications department
 - Minimum of 3-5 years at a PR/communications agency
 - Solid editorial relationships with key members of the press (games, tech, consumer) and influencers
 - Direct experience overseeing large brand, or entertainment licensed games PR
 - Proven success at developing and executing innovative, strategic communications campaigns
 - Strong written and verbal communication/presentation skills
 - Bachelor’s degree required in Communications, Marketing, Journalism or related field

- Must be highly collaborative and able to work effectively as part of a team
 - Must be deadline and detail oriented, and adept in strategically driving and managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
 - Must demonstrate ability to take the initiative by confidently self-starting work, making improvements to office procedures, reports and processes, and requires minimal supervision
 - Must be accomplished in domestic (U.S. and Canada) publicity/PR/communications
 - Must have some experience in overseeing global launches/activations
 - Must be able to maintain department business with the utmost confidentially
 - Must have experience working with a positive attitude toward a rapidly changing business environment (both remote and in office)
 
Essential Responsibilities:
- Responsible for developing, overseeing and executing comprehensive communications campaigns supporting entertainment brands for our Games and Digital Platforms business unit
 - Strong games/consumer tech, entertainment/pop culture and trade industry media and influencer relationships and overall media relations savvy
 - Potentially supervise and direct outside PR agencies, and manage results and ROI
 - Work with multiple partners and licensees to maximize results and synergy
 - Support innovative PR campaigns activating across a variety of media targets
 - Work collaboratively with UP&E Global Communications team, games/digital marketing and production leads, franchise marketing, and cross-enterprise functions to support launch strategies
 - Expected to stay abreast of and monitor the competitive editorial landscape and have a strong knowledge of industry trends across games, technology and Web3
