We are seeking a motivated and sharp candidate based in the Los Angeles area to join our production team and help us grow to the next level.

The Production Manager is responsible for maintaining the integrity of the design, the level of craftsmanship, and attention to detail for each piece of furniture and lighting manufactured. The Production Manager oversees, manages and provide support for all aspects of product production cycle to ensure the highest quality and timely service to customers. 

Job Responsibilities

  • Ensure that all products are fabricated, finished or upholstered correctly and completed in a timely as well as thorough manner.
  •  Manage relationships with manufacturing partners/vendors including overseeing day-to-day interactions with these partners.
  • Manage the production schedules, capacity schedules and production priority lists.
  • Create and order purchase orders, ensuring purchase orders are correct and complete in our proprietary ERP system. This includes managing all production activities, expediting orders and ensuring deadlines are achieved while maintaining cost effectiveness, high quality of workmanship, and overall process efficiency
  • Convene weekly production meetings with key players to review open orders, workroom capacities, product quality and order delivery schedules to ensure production maintained on time at the highest level.
  • Identify and develop relationships with new manufacturers. Onboard new manufacturers to ensure they follow the Company’s procedures while meeting our quality and production guidelines.
  • Ensure that all product materials required to complete orders are correctly purchased and stocked at their required levels.
  • Work with the logistics team to ensure that all materials or components being transferred from one workroom to another, or to warehouses, is done in an efficient and timely manner.
  • Assist in developing resolutions for any product/order performance issues that are received.
  • Provide input to the design team on new product development and prototype development.
  • Manage the Company’s day-to-day inventory including establish procedures and policies.
  • Perform other duties, as necessary, in support of growing the Company’s business.

Job Requirements:

  • Advanced knowledge of materials and processes associated with high-end furniture and lighting manufacturing.
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills; demonstrated ability to organize vast amounts of data; demonstrate ability to manage several priorities and possess solid time management skills.
  • Comfortable and proficient in working with an online ERP System. Experience in working on a Mac, Microsoft Word and Excel. 
  • Demonstrates the desire to work collaboratively, modeling qualities of dependability, reliability, and personal accountability during all activities.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Organizational skills, high attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines.
