They are seeking a brand partnership expert to join their team as a Manager, Strategic Accounts. At the heart of this role, this candidate will support key strategic accounts through their entire lifecycle – from deal formation, ideation, execution, all the way through content launch and completion. This role will be a supporting project lead on the team’s Strategic Accounts.. What are Strategic Accounts?. At this company, the Strategic Accounts group services a short list of key brands. They embed themselves with their clients and help their partners meet their goals with best-in-class marketing solutions. That said, no Strategic Account is created equal. Generally, they’re not reacting to a brief, but working with client stakeholders to identify problems and needs. They work to connect these dots.. Strategic Accounts are generally longer lead programs where work is iterative and vision planning is required. It is the Strategic Account group’s job to make something tangible out of any preliminary bits and spearhead the program. Essentially making a work of art out of fragments, patience with key stakeholders, comfort with ambiguity, and foresight are all critical for the day-to-day demands of this role. Success in this role will require strong, consultative client management, creative problem solving, the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment, and the unwavering confidence to navigate a potentially ambiguous program lifecycle.. SKILLS:. 3-5 years in the marketing/branded entertainment space. Experience supporting or managing programs that began in ambiguous territory and ended in successful, integrated branded programs.. A proven focus on client services, deal formation, and production execution at a digital publisher, or similar. Scrappy, poised, professional, a self-starter, obsessed with detail, collaborative and thrives under pressure. Excellent writing skills and the ability to articulate internal and external feedback/next steps clearly and concisely, both internally and externally. Stellar project management skills specific to branded content, video and high impact media production, with the ability to multi-task like a pro. Experience wrangling internal and external stakeholders to set a project up for success. A fluid and dynamic approach to problem solving, knowing no situation is quite like the one before it. An understanding of the role Business Affairs, Legal and contracts play in the formation of any deal. Can speak and understand both sales and production.. A positive team presence and attitude, especially when the path ahead is not clear. No stranger to Keynote/Google Slides/Google Sheets (No Outlook in these parts!).

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Deal Formation / Kick-off. Manage deal terms formation process from brief/kick-off call to contract finalization. Manage coordination, cooperation, feedback and sign-off with all other departments across the lifespan of the program. i.e. legal, creative, talent, social/distribution, and production to ensure necessary details are accounted for within deal terms and pricing documents.. Scope programs internally, working with internal teams to align budgets to revenue. Identify tangible goals. Craft and recommend business terms and corresponding pricing to brand partners, memorialize terms, align with client. Work hand in hand with Legal and Business Affairs to distill business terms, and craft contracts that represent the agreed upon terms and legalese. Rally the troops to get programs off the ground. Realizing the scope of work into an actionable production plan. Consensus with client on the creative and production approach. Manage client reviews and approvals. Production. Manage the client relationship and health of the program. Coordinate and drive client meetings including structured kickoffs, translating deal points, brand integration & deliverables into production action items. Work with Production to develop timelines, production logistics and creative development. Internal and external project management. Client management on set during Production, remote or otherwise. Provide feedback and Brand Partnerships coverage throughout Production and Post-Production. Uphold brand values throughout partnership and content while being thoughtful of the intricacies of client relationships and communication. Launch & Completion. Ensure deliverables meet program requirements both quantitatively and qualitatively. If applicable, track delivery, make optimization recommendations and capture campaign performance measurements in collaboration with audience development and creative teams to analyze and present in wrap up reports.
