HR Manager M&A Integration (Post-Merger)

As part of the global Media.Monks People team, the Manager, HR M&A Integrations is responsible for leading the end-to-end HR process of S4Capital’s mergers and acquisitions.

As a Manager, you will act as the central point of contact for various projects and see through the complete integration of S4C’s global HR processes, systems, programs, benefits, and policies.

This individual will sit on the Global HR Integrations team but work very closely with the Post Merger Integration and Regional HR teams. 

Responsibilities include (but not limited to): 

  • HR Due Diligence
    • Work closely with the PMI team & Legal department to ensure open risks and issues flagged in the HR due diligence reports are resolved in a timely manner post-close
  • Post Merger Integration
    • Act as HR Lead for end-to-end HR post merger integration planning and execution for NAMER mergers
    • Partner closely with our PMI team and HR team to drive deal integration from an HR perspective and report on project progress
    • Work with key stakeholders across HR to accomplish this integration 
    • Identify, track, and solve complex cross-functional challenges related to integration, including compensation, benefits, absence, recruiting, onboarding, etc.
    • Create and document scalable integration practices and playbooks to support increasing growth and larger S4 unitary integration
  • HR Projects 
    • Evaluate and determine how new mergers need to be involved in S4 Unitary Integration or Special Projects
    • Develop project plans, and communicate progress to stakeholders 
    • Partner with the HR Systems team to help onboard new mergers into Workday and conduct employee related data analysis 
    • Partner with the DE&I & Culture team to involve new mergers in DE&I programs, reporting, employee engagement, culture and wellness events
    • Partner with the Talent & Development team to integrate our T&D practices and systems, like LinkedIn Learning, performance reviews and career development
    • Partner with the Recruiting team to integrate our Recruiting practices and system (Greenhouse)
    • Manage all other HR related PMI tasks, including labor relations and compliance, organisational strategy, and communications
  • Assist with ad hoc analysis, reporting, and other HR Integrations projects as needed

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of broad HR experience with a Bachelor’s degree
  • M&A experience a plus but not required 
  • Robust knowledge of HR practices & a good understanding of HR systems
  • Strong experience in program/project management (including cross-functional, global teams and external advisors) 
  • Strong analytical and operational capabilities
  • Effective collaborator with strong interpersonal skills and comfortable working in an environment with tight deadlines and imperfect information (working in the gray)
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills in English; other languages a plus
  • Ability to maintain discretion in working on confidential projects
