Growth Director – Remote

Function

The Growth Director reports to the Chief Operating Officer and is responsible for the development of new Business Products, Markets and Verticals.

The position will lead multiple product and market implementations from proof of concept to implementation and be responsible for building relationships and providing project sponsorship and leadership to drive growth and profit. 

Scope and Key Responsibilities: 

  • Work directly with Executive Leadership and Sales Lab, Marketing, Fulfilment, and Customer Service teams 
  • Coordinate and implement plans designed to capture new opportunities
  • Incubate a data driven, results focused culture by consistently monitoring revenue progress, identifying actionable insights to improve revenue performance and testing out new tactics to beat goals and respond to changes in the market
  • Drive customer acquisition product adoption and usage growth by building and executing a scalable growth programs
  • Incubate new programs to grow revenue, product adoption, and market penetration.
  • Design, launch, and iterate programs, levels of service, and ops processes.

    Test what works and scale it

  • Deliver against growth, customer experience, and KPIs
  • Develop deep relationships with key cross-functional partners across the company and coordinate with working teams
  • Build direct reports teams as well as cross-company ad hoc teams
  • Project manage cross functional initiatives, drive successful product alpha and beta programs, launches and communications materials (including posts and best practices) with partners globally (e.g., set a plan, deadlines, and ensure timely deliverables)
  • Create a culture of collaboration and a team-first environment

Key Performance Indicators:

  • Achieve additional product and market development within budget, on time, and within scope.
  • Revenue achievement as per P&L
  • Profitability achievement as per P&L

Requirements

  • Entrepreneurial attitude and spirit
  • 8+ Years of experience in business development, marketing, product management, and/or customer service
  • Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent Experience
  • International business development experience
  • Excellent Leadership Skills
  • A working knowledge of a wide range of business models, P&L Modeling, and the ability to learn and assess a business model in real time.
  • Verifiable history of success in small business marketing
  • Distinctive problem solving and analysis skills, experience solving complex and diverse business problems
  • Comfort in a frequently changing, ambiguous, fast-paced environment
  • Ability to create strategic yet actionable project plan for an ambiguous, somewhat open-ended problem statements
  • Be skilled in cross functional collaboration
  • A strong analytical and growth hacker mentality, and a passion for serving customers
