We are seeking a Group Brand Director to join our growing team.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Make a difference by bringing your leadership and vision to the organization and impacting how the agency operates and grows
  • Make yourself an expert on client brands and business, understanding key challenges and how they can be overcome through creative marketing ideas
  • Lead and shape the development of the agency’s work; assigning responsibilities and defining accountability
  • Build and maintain strong relationships across teams e.g. Planning, Strategy, Creative, Design, Production – getting the best out of all services and using resources profitably and effectively
  • Set the tone for meaningful change and motivate the team with your leadership; develop direct reports into effective leaders
  • Constantly seek opportunities for ongoing profitability
  • Think three steps ahead, and 6-12 months ahead, driving excellent client service, a culture of fast, high-quality delivery as well as a vision for long term success
  • Mentor, guide and grow the brand director team, and report to the managing director
  • Create a get it done ‘can do’ team culture and take proactive ownership of initiatives
  • Financial management with oversight and negotiation of client contract and budget management
  • Bring operational, as well as managerial contribution to each project
  • Sell ideas, concepts and work streams with conviction, enthusiasm, confidence and full commitment
  • Organize, write and deliver major presentations/proposals

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of agency experience
  • Comprehensive knowledge re: developing the strategy, creative planning and activation of creative campaign, utilizing agency resources to deliver
  • Strong storytelling and presentation skills
  • Proven ability to hit the ground running and manage complex teams & client relations
  • Strong leadership skills to motivate your team
