Lets do this. Lets change the world. In this vital role you will provide commercial leadership and one GCO voice input into the development strategy of our early assets across the portfolio.
In this vital role the Global Marketing Director Disease Area Strategic Knowledge (DASK) for Cardio-Metabolic serves as primary Global Commercial Operations (GCO) that collaborates with Research & Development and Operations for cardio-metabolic early pipeline assets. In this role you will be responsible for the following:

Key driver for the development of the Cardio-Metabolic Therapeutic Area (CV-Met TA) Strategy

Key contributor to the Product Teams (PTs) of the Cardio-Metabolic (CV-Met) early pipeline assets, providing commercial vision and perspective for the overall product strategy

Lead cross-functional IBTs of the Cardio-Metabolic (CV-Met) early pipeline assets

Development and execution of Global Brand Plans (formerly GPS) for Cardio-Metabolic (CV-Met) early pipeline assets
-
Leading Global Marketing activities for Cardio-Metabolic (CV-Met) early pipeline assets consistent with agreed Global Marketing processes

Lead/participate in strategy presentations at Therapeutic Area/Product Governance (TAG/PG) through team input and development of the strategy

Provide Commercial input on Business Development efforts for Cardio-Metabolic portfolio

Manage and coordinate with our Partners where needed

Forge strong relationships and cross-functional collaboration and key country collaboration

Develop Long Range Scenario (LRS) for Cardio-Metabolic (CV-Met) early pipeline assets in partnership with Forecasting and other functions

Co-development of documentation and portal materials and presentations, e.g. E2L, CTRS, et cetera

Manage budget in support of the above

Basic Qualifications
Doctorate degree and 4 years of Marketing experience
Or
Masters degree and 6 years of Marketing experience
Or
Bachelors degree and 8 years of Marketing experience
Preferred Qualifications
-
6+ years of leadership experience managing cross-functional teams, projects, programs or directing the allocation of resources
-
8+ years of experience in commercial roles with increasing scope, scale and complexity in the biopharmaceutical industry
-
Marketing experience developing and implementing global marketing and commercial strategies for pipeline products, launching therapeutic products and repositioning products to maximize commercial value
-
Experience in commercial positions with US responsibilities is desirable
-
Cardio-Metabolic (CV-Met) therapeutic area expertise is desirable
-
Experience launching products is important
-
Understanding of Global, particularly US market access, pricing and reimbursement issues
-
Experience working in cross-functional teams in a matrix environment, managing global projects involving multiple functions and shared accountabilities

Possesses an understanding of broad, global market dynamics and the cultural awareness and sensitivity to form relationships and work effectively with colleagues around the world
-
Prior experience in a tactical, line marketing role, implementing marketing strategies in local markets, is a plus
-
Experience supporting product licensing and acquisition transactions
