WHAT YOU’LL DO

The Human Resource Director develops, leads and manages the delivery of HR services for the assigned client areas. This role provides strategic business human resources support for Global Operations, Supply Chain and Quality, supporting multiple sites and over 3, 000 employees in the US, Malaysia and Puerto Rico.  .

Position Accountability/ Scope

  • Ensures the effective delivery of HR services across multiple global locations and functions.
  • Consults with Divisional Vice Presidents, Directors and Managers to develop, evaluate and execute HR strategies.
  • Responsible for supporting the development plans and talent movement for the assigned client areas.
  • Participates/leads/supports pan-medical device division projects
  • Role is critical to executing people strategies, in coordination with DVP and Director colleagues, across the organization worldwide.
  • Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures.
  • Position supports Abbott Medical Devices in Cardiac Rhythm Management Division

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE, YOU’LL BRING

Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 8 to 10 years of relevant progressive HR experience in a related field
  • HR experience across multiple global organizations/site locations
  • Prior experience in strategic BHR support

Preferred :

  • Advanced degree is Human Resources preferred
  • HR International experience preferred
  • Remote staff management
  • Experience in a regulated industry
