We focus on innovative technologies that can improve the way doctors treat people with heart arrhythmias, or irregular heartbeats. This position will be located in our Sylmar, CA offices.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
The Human Resource Director develops, leads and manages the delivery of HR services for the assigned client areas. Provides strategic business human resources support for Global Product Development, Clinical and Regulatory Affairs, Medical Affairs, Gross Margin Improvement and Finance.
Position Accountability/ Scope
- Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures.
- Ensures the effective delivery of HR services across multiple global locations and functions.
- Consults with managers to develop, evaluate and execute HR strategies.
- Responsible for supporting the development plans for the assigned client areas.
- Role is critical to executing people strategies, in coordination with DVP and Director colleagues, across the organization worldwide.
- Position supports Abbott Medical Devices Division in Cardiac Rhythm Management
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE, YOU’LL BRING
Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree in related area
- 8 to 10 years of relevant progressive HR experience in a related field
- HR experience across multiple global organizations/site locations
- Prior experience in strategic BHR support
Preferred :
- Advanced degree is Human Resources preferred
- HR International experience preferred
