Job Responsibilities

The General Manager position is responsible for planning and directing all daily operations of the restaurant.

The General Manager is required to maintain high standards of food, service, health, and safety; ensure efficient and profitable business performance of the restaurant; and manage the optimal utilization of staff and resources.

In addition to delivering revenue and profits by developing, marketing, financing, and providing high-quality restaurant service, the General Manager will also be overseeing the selection, development, and performance management of the restaurant’s employees.

Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to: financial tracking, managing inventory, ordering ingredients and supplies, enforcing health and safety policies and procedures, guaranteeing cleanliness, assessing maintenance and repairs needed, and ensuring guests are fully satisfied with their dining experience.

Skills & Qualifications

The candidate must demonstrate:
Proven work experience as a General Manager, Restaurant Manager, Hospitality Manager or similar executive role
Excellent customer service skills
Extensive food and beverage (F&B) knowledge
Acute financial management skills
Proficiency with restaurant management software, scheduling, and delivery apps
Familiarity with Microsoft Office/365 (e.g.

Word, Excel, etc.) or G Suite
Excellent communication skills
Outstanding mentoring/leadership skills
Open availability (with the ability to work long hours)
Ability to stand for long periods of time
Problem-solving aptitude
Positive and professional attitude

Pay: $70,000.00
– $80,000.00 per year
