Founded in 2018 as a mobile burger pop-up known for our high quality and attention to detail, as well as its down to earth and honest voice, Goldburger has maintained that vibe as it has quickly grown from a cart on the side of the road to two permanent restaurants.

About the Job
The General Manager is responsible for leading their team to achieve the highest possible standards in product and hospitality.
They actively participate in the hiring, training, and continued growth of their staff, ensuring the highest standards of technical acumen and service excellence.
They set a high standard for the employees of the shop and hold them accountable to attaining those standards while working closely with the owner.
Responsibilities
Demonstrate a complete understanding of Goldburger values and standards.
Foster an inspiring, team-first atmosphere for all employees, ensuring that they are all working in service of the same goal: delivering great products with exceptional hospitality
Effectively delegates tasks
Hold the team accountable to meeting the high standard of team performance
Foster the development of staff through regular training and development
Attend weekly management meetings with the owner
Give clear and direct feedback to staff in accordance, both in real time and during structured feedback settings
Address common facilities maintenance issues autonomously and escalates any unique or special issues appropriately
Schedule staff strategically with awareness of labor costs
Organize shop-specific events and specials
Maintain inventory to ensure availability of all our offerings and products, place daily and weekly orders with vendors
Create and perpetually improves systems that are universally applicable in the store and can be implemented with ease
Maintains a safe environment for all employees and customers
Assures strict compliance with food and worker safety codes in addition to all other applicable laws
Qualifications and Experience
One year of proven management success in a high-volume and/or quality driven food service environment
Experience working with a food (full service or fast casual, FOH or BOH)
Must posses a food safety manager certification or be willing to attain one within the first 30 days of employment
Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
A willingness to act as the standard-bearer for Goldburger values and standards
High level of organization with excellent time management skills and ability to self-direct
Ability to keep a calm, mature, professional demeanor at all times
Ability to communicate directives to staff with varying levels of experience
Superior leadership capabilities; ability to work well within groups
Detail-oriented
Availability for both weekend days and overall schedule availability
Must be able to provide reliable transportation to/from work and for work-related errands
Must be proficient with Email and Google Drive
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00
– $80,000.00 per year
