If the above sounds like you, this position might be just what you’re looking for The Logistics Project Coordinator provides overall support for Alfa Laval Service orders for both our external and internal customers.

Key areas include: Overall management/administration of each service order, and continually seek ways to improve the order process.

The Logistics Project Coordinator opens and closes orders, provides accurate invoices, and works to provide an exceptional customer experience.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF POSITION (outline job duties and responsibilities): Open and maintain service orders with accurate information Perform tasks within proprietary applications in Alfa Laval ERP tools and Service labor management systems (order parts and expedite as needed, create PO’s for outsource operations, occasionally schedule freight, etc.) Interact and communicate critical order information to Field Service and Service Center Coordinators or Supervisors Assist Logistical Projects team to meet published baseline measurements and KPI’s Review orders for accuracy prior to invoicing Invoice jobs to end customers after completion of work Provide necessary support to Shared Services regarding Account Receivable issues, creating new customer profiles and work with customer account Data Stewards to have the customers set up in the systems Spare parts order entry and execution, coordinating with Service Center and Field Service Supervisors/Coordinators as needed Process claims through Alfa Laval claim system ACT: register, create and complete remedial actions, track warranty costs and update actions as needed in accordance with the global claims rules Acts as backup for other Logistical Projects Coordinators as needed Positive participation in meetings and improvement initiatives Provides management and follow up on order backlog to ensure the invoicing is accomplished in a timely manner and that orders are properly dated in the system to provide for an accurate backlog report.

Perform other duties as directed by Management ORGANIZATIONAL COMPONENTS The Logistics Projects Coordinator reports directly to the Logistical Projects Manager and may indirectly receive direction from Field Service or Service Center Supervisors, Service Coordinators, or Directors.

Functions with minimal supervision to open and execute orders, communicate with internal customers, and work with team members to meet KPI’s and improve every customer experience.

Two years hands-on experience in a manufacturing, job shop or customer service environment Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Attributes Desired in Candidate: Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills Ability to work within stressful situations Strong PC skills in word processing, spreadsheet and database software.

Strong desire to provide quality service with a team approach to achieve customer satisfaction.

Ability to collect information from and work in multiple systems and programs efficiently PHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS Main job is in an office environment with possibly 5-10% of the time in a service center environment where there is the possibility of coming into contact with residues of customers’ products.
