nn nn nSodexo is seeking a General Manager 3 for a K-12 account in the Los Angeles area.
Our General Manager will act as a consultant to the Chief Business Officer and/or Superintendent of the El Segundo Unified School District located in El Segundo, CA.
He or she will advise, implement and deploy innovative solutions focused on improving the student dining experience while ensuring that all meals provided are in compliance with State and Federal National School Lunch Program regulations.
He or she will work as an advocate for our client to achieve their financial and operational goals.
nn nn nThe successful candidate will: nn Provide technical expertise to the district’s National School Lunch Program-review and interpret state and federal laws, regulations and policies; Assist with budget preparation and monitoring; Establish effective communication with the California Department of Education (CDE) for the assigned area; Develop long-term and short-term objectives and plans for the district’s child nutrition program; Assist with monitoring, assessing and evaluating the food service program and performance for inspections to determine compliance with state and/or federal guidelines and progress in meeting established department goals; Plan and implement educational training programs for staff; Research, prepare and administer grant proposals and/or contracts for services and NSLP fees for service; Ensure the fulfillment of all contract commitments; and Sustain client satisfaction and retention.
