We are looking for a *Gateway Operations Manager* to join our growing team in the US! As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the growth and development of the business between North America and Latin America, supervising and coordinating air and ocean import and export operations, maintaining the development and loyalty of our clients, working in a fast-paced environment with time-sensitive cargo that requires constant attention, all while Coordinating customer operations and maintaining business relationships.

Responsibilities include:
· Define and implement strategies to develop service/solutions products from the USA to Worldwide and collaborate with CAN and PR.
· Supervise the performance of the operations in a timely manner.
· Ensure complete monitoring of shipments according to incoterm.
· Supervise the coordination of pick ups, transfers and deliveries.
· Supervise and/or to confirm upon receipt the status of the merchandise received in warehouse.
· Supervise and/or coordinate extemporary services when required.
· Provide shipments authorization to origin / agents
· Supervise shipping instructions to the corresponding vendors (carrier, agent, customs agent, etc.). according to the SOPs and negotiations agreed by the Sourcing team
· Validate the certificates of origin, if applies, and send confirmation to origin once it is validated by the Customs Agent of the client.
· Coordinate the reception and reviewal of shipping documents.
· Prepare / coordinate the development of HAWB / BL according to applicable documents, practices and regulations.
· Coordination for assignment of MAWB / MBL with agent
· Keep documents in file safe according to SOPs and internal processes
· Coordinate customs clearance with the client’s Customs Agent or when necessary
· Follow up on the cargo route to ensure compliance with the customer.
· Execute the DGR shipments according to the recessing of dangerous goods.
· Provide assistance to team meetings and requested trainings.
· Perform their functions and activities according to what is indicated in the corresponding work procedures and instructions.
· Support the deployment, understanding and implementation of the quality management system.
· Supervise the compliance of ISF Filing, FMC’s Rates Filing, AMS Filing and AES filing.
Qualifications
● Bachelor’s degree in business and/or 5 years operations experience
● Knowledge and experience with AWB, HAWB, BLS, BOL, AMS, ISF.
● 3 to 5 years of Warehouse Management experience
● Commitment to excellence and strong experience in Operational Excellence
● Excellent communication skills (frequent interaction with customer & different functions/levels)
● Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
● Passion, initiative, result-oriented drive to continuously develop and work with creativity & innovation
● Proven ability to handle multiple projects, effectively manage time and meet deadlines
● Process & task oriented
● Ability to perform under time pressure
● Must be detailed-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks at the same time.
● Punctuality and dependability
● Ability to prioritise tasks and switch quickly between tasks with exceptional planning and organisational skills
