Fund Manager

Responsibilities
As the Fund Manager for the Department of Medicine – Endocrinology, you will be responsible for the fiscal administration of various research portfolios, including the pre and post-award administration of contracts and grants.

Primary duties include:
Manage all fund activities of designated accounts, from fund proposal and preparation to fund closeouts
Prepare and manage invoicing, reconcile ledgers to ensure proper spending, and project salary and expenses
Compile fiscal information to be used for annual budgets and monthly financial statements
Assist with the preparation of new research proposal applications to federal, non-profit, and private agencies

Qualifications

Mathematical skills to perform calculations and identify/resolve financial problems
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with a strong emphasis in Excel
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Superb organizational and time management skills
Resourceful and adept at problem solving
Not required, but a bonus if you have the following:
Working knowledge of NIH, University sponsored research administration, pre and post award administration, and contract and grant management
Experience in using University systems, such as OFSR, QDB, UCPath
