is the place where top talent wants to work.Position Summary: To lead all aspects of Export & Trade compliance activities while meeting the Airbus standardsPrimary Responsibilities:Serve as an Empowered Official and DECCS Administrator and assist in handling the Company’s SNAP-R and ACE accounts; assist in management of the Part 122 and 129 Registration.Provide day-to-day operational export and trade regulation direction and support to program personnel for proposed exports, re-exports, deemed exports, management of controlled data and other activities, including jurisdiction and classification determination, screening all parties to transactions, and conducting licensing analysis.Prepare, submit, and track ITAR export and temporary import licenses applications, technical assistance agreements, manufacturing license agreements, retransfer requests, commodity classification and jurisdiction requests, and other export control documentation, communicate status proactively with company personnel, provide license training to program personnel and ensure licenses are appropriately decremented.Prepare, submit, and track EAR export license applications, use of license exceptions, commodity classification requests as needed, and other related documentation proactively with company personnel, provide license and exception training and provide for required recordkeeping and license decrementation.Handle and supervise areas of trade compliance risk based on the company’s activities and provide periodic reports to program and functional leadership regarding concerns.Assist in management of ATF registration licensing.Provide direction and transactional review of export shipping documentation to ensure accurate Schedule B codes, ECCNs or USML Categories, license numbers, are used and referenced; coordinate as needed with freight forwarders and import brokers.Review and revise export compliance terms in contractual documents to meet Airbus standards.Prepare and handle Temporary Import Bonds (TIB), prepare and process international import certificates (IIC), conduct ongoing monitoring of monthly customs imports for proper classifications and request corrections as needed.Track and supervise the delivery of training to company employees on compliance with U.S.

export and trade compliance regulations, including general awareness training, focused education and training on applicable functional support staff, and export license and agreement training to business line and program personnel.Provide training to program and functional support staff in export control jurisdiction and classification analysis.Assist in the development and management of audit plans, implement and support audits of the company and its affiliates, run implementation of any resultant remediation plans.Conduct, review and report back on investigations of potential violations of company policies relating to compliance with export and trade sanctions regulations; identify root cause of issues and develop, document, implement, and track corrective actions.Maintain and incorporate continuous improvement strategies into export and trade compliance policies, processes, and work instructions and partner with the business and functional support staff to integrate compliance requirements into the operational policies, procedures, and culture.Qualified Experience / Skills / Training:Education/ Experience:Bachelor’s Degree in an appropriate field such as international business, management, or engineering from an accredited institution and five (5) years of shown experience running an export and trade compliance programDemonstrated ability to develop and deliver effective and efficient tailored training to a diverse set of internal and external customers.Demonstrated independent problem solving and management of multiple simultaneous tasks in a high pressure environmentExcellent verbal and writing skills with a demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with diverse customers.Experience in the aerospace and defense industry in an export control or compliance position is strongly preferred.Conversational and written Spanish proficiency preferred; French and German is a plus.Knowledge, Skills, Capabilities:Highly organized individual able to work with little to no supervision.An integrity driven professional who will ensure all work is of quality that is expected from an Airbus OEM.May frequently be required to travel (domestic and/or international).Computer literate: MS Project, MS Office Suite, and ERP programs.Strong understanding of International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), Export Administration Regulations (EAR), Foreign Trade Regulations (FTR), Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) regulations, Customs regulations and other applicable domestic and international trade law regulations, supply chain operations, and the global trade network.Strong working knowledge of DECCS, SNAP-R, and ACE.Strong analytical skills and ability to lead cross-functional groups and work in a team atmosphereExcellent computer abilities with MS Office suite packages.Communication Ability: (Spoken, Written, Influencing, Proficiency in Other Languages):Strong communication ability to supervise employees and communicate with management in a professional manner.Travel Required:10% Domestic and InternationalEligibility:Authorized to Work in the USDecision Making, Complexity:Able to make independent decisions with little or no supervision.Physical Requirements:Includes: Sitting, Standing, Walking, Speaking, Hearing, VisionEqual Opportunity: Airbus U.S.
