POSITION SUMMARY

The Executive Director in Training (EDIT) participates in a 12 month comprehensive training program to learn the role of an Executive Director. This training is conducted under the direction of an experienced Belmont Village Executive Director Preceptor at an assigned location. As the EDIT you will assist the ED Preceptor through completion of assigned duties with progressive responsibility within the community.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Through rotational training assignments within the assigned community under the direction of the ED Preceptor, the EDIT will actively participate in and gain proficiency in all areas of community operation to include but not limited to: Regulatory Compliance, Customer Service & Satisfaction, Employee Relations, Talent Management, Sales, Care & Service Plan Development, and Management of the Community Operating Budget.
  • Progress and proficiency will be measured through regular communication with the Program Administrator and ED Preceptor through monthly meetings and continual feedback using self-evaluations and progress reports
  • Upon successful completion of the training program and with final approval from the Program Administrator and Preceptor, you will advance to an Assistant Executive Director or Executive Director position as determined by the needs of the company.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 2 years of management experience in senior living, healthcare or hospitality
  • Ability to obtain a state administrator’s licensure by the end of the training program
  • Associates Degree required / Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Ability to work flexible schedules in a 24 hour operation
