Engineering Manager

Minimum Requirements: B.S. Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering required 7 years of overall experience with at least 3 years of engineering supervision experience Must have a background in chemicals manufacturing, mining or something related to those Should have prior experience leading capital projects and optimization/improvement projects Job Description: This person will work in a 125-person manufacturing plant; one side of the plant does catalyst recycling and the other half of the plant produces specialty chemicals. Unit operations that are used at the plant include reaction and distillation and it is a wet chemistry process. The main thrust of this person’s responsibilities will be overseeing engineering and maintenance personnel as well as interacting with customers to assess the demand for the products that this company produces. This person will report to the plant manager of the facility. Relocation assistance is available and will be in the form of a lump sum payment to help cover costs. The parent company is a privately-held global materials manufacturing company with many facilities throughout the U.S. and World and about 16,000 employees worldwide.
