How Youll Impact Our Business
West Monroe is hiring a Manager with prior consulting project management experience to join our growing Energy & Utilities practice in our Los Angeles office, specifically leading our efforts in designing, planning, and implementing various interconnected Grid Mod initiatives.
In this role you will be responsible for delivering business and technology solutions to Energy Utility organizations specifically partnering with our clients around next generation grid mod technology and operational systems including ADMS (SCADA, DMS, OMS), and DER.
In this role, you will:
Lead and mentor a motivated team of professionals by actively monitoring employee development, performance management, and training
Solve complex client issues and act as their change agents by overseeing the overall project(s), with ultimate responsibility for success or failure of the engagement.
Understand business needs and requirements and help turn those goals into tangible deliverables including projects and detailed proposals, requirements specifications, design deliverables, status reports and project plans
Create work plans, pricing estimates, and risk assessments for projects
What Youll Need To Succeed
Prior consulting experience as a Manager, minimum of 1 year as a Manager
Ability to lead and mentor other team members or developers while leading projects
Excellent leadership, organizational, verbal and written communication skills
Willingness to travel
