The Educational Partnerships Manager drives development of strategic education and community partnerships to raise awareness and access to Music Forward’s programs, scholarships, and internship pathways and facilitates programs with a focus on post-secondary aged youth. The Manager works closely with the Director of Education to develop materials and integrate learning modules into educational systems. They facilitate and evaluate panels and workshops as needed, and coordinates with the marketing and industry partnerships team to place and prepare industry experts for programs and promote programs to participants. The Manager trains and manages program facilitators, as well as program interns.
Leveraging the strategic partnerships and college advocates network, the Manager is responsible for higher education activation and student attendance at All Access Fest, including collaborating with the event contractor, engaging exhibitors, panelists, volunteers, and participants. The Manager is the project lead for scholarship promotion, screening, content capture, evaluation, and reporting. The Manager develops internship training materials and pilots them in Los Angeles, and directly manages local program interns. This position is based in Los Angeles and reports to the Director of Education.

- Lead and support program facilitation of career readiness programs and the scholarship program. Develop timelines and benchmarks for coaching/mentorship opportunities, career preparedness programs, and annual scholarship opportunities. Manage the promotion, review, and award processes including the recruitment and training of an annual review committee. Train and manage program facilitators.
- Execute a strategy to engage post-secondary stakeholders across the entire organization year-round. Support local staff in meeting programmatic goals for panels and college student participation in Music Forward programming. At annual All Access Fest programs, working collaboratively with Program staff, Music Forward Marketing department and external contractors, to ensure effective campus outreach and awareness for recruitment of participants, volunteers, and recruiters/exhibitors at All Access Fest.
- Support special programming by providing operational support and youth engagement as needed for special program planning. Role may include serving as point-person for education partners, independent contractors, general and college volunteers, and program recipients.
- Develop community relationships. Identify, develop and foster relationships to ensure youth engagement with a focus on Opportunity, BIPOC and underserved youth. Conduct site visits and trainings with prospective and current partners. Represent Music Forward at campus events through public speaking and networking.
- Drive program promotional strategies for college and scholarship opportunities. Lead the development and distribution of promotional materials to colleges, universities and community organizations for stakeholder engagement. Provide input to Marketing and Operational Team on content for promotional needs including but not limited to social media, collateral, newsletter, and website.
- Raise awareness of post-secondary learning and internship opportunities with 3rd parties through internal and external communications. Ensure ongoing communication with post-secondary institutions, non-profit organizations and employers to share and receive relevant information, requirements and guidelines for learning and internship opportunities. Provide coaching and mentorship for students seeking internships and entry level opportunities.
- Participate in other program activities: work in concert with Director of Education and Director of Marketing and Partnerships to prepare materials and agenda for meetings and trips with partners, industry leaders and Live Nation staff; support evaluation and facilitation of third-party activations; provide general administrative support for other outreach and special events.
- Be an active member of our team: take initiative in support of our organizational strategies by brainstorming, researching and proposing strategic individual and corporate targets; participate in required staff calls and meetings; support additional duties as assigned.

What you bring
- 5+ years in program facilitation or community organizing field with experience in managing others
- Ability to navigate post-secondary financial-aid, career services, and student organization processes
- General knowledge of the music industry and local community partners and experts preferred
- Experience working with groups of students ages 16-22
- Youth development outcomes-based programming, program assessment, implementation and data reporting experience
- Has a growth mindset, open to training, feedback, as well as a self-driven learner
- High level of comfort working across a diverse staff and constituent base, and conscientious of reaching out with an inclusive voice
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail
