We are seeking a dynamic Regional Education Account Manager to spearhead our efforts in the Higher Education and K-12 market. As a vital member of our team, you’ll be instrumental in driving sales growth and building lasting relationships within this pivotal sector. Responsibilities: Craft and execute a comprehensive sales strategy tailored to the education market within your designated region. Cultivate and expand relationships with new and existing education accounts, leveraging your networking prowess to drive revenue. Employ a combination of warm outreach and targeted cold calls to engage prospective customers, showcasing the value of our solutions. Foster strong connections with audio-video teams, decision-makers, and influencers at universities and school districts. Conduct impactful presentations and demonstrations of our solutions, including active participation in education trade shows and local events. Collaborate closely with Sales Representatives, Integrators, and Consultants to identify and capitalize on opportunities within the education sector. Work in tandem with regional managers, partners, and integrators to develop strategic account plans, ensuring alignment with revenue objectives. Additional Support: Acquire proficiency in the platform, gaining a deep understanding of its functionalities and programming capabilities. Collaborate with the regional team to navigate projects through the audiovisual channel, reporting opportunities and providing valuable insights. Assist sales channel representatives with end-user engagements and large-scale project opportunities. Collaborate with Field Sales Engineers on system design, configurations, and Bill of Materials (BOM). Stay abreast of industry trends and competitor activity through comprehensive market analysis. Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field. 5+ years of experience in sales of professional audio, video, and control solutions within the Higher Education and K-12 market. Comprehensive understanding of commercial audiovisual landscapes and integrated systems. Proficiency in computer technologies, networked audio systems, and DSP technology; experience with audio networking and control systems is advantageous. Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills. Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, with fluency in English. Proven decision-making skills and ability to exceed goals and objectives. Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications, CRM, and Power BI tools. Knowledge of procurement policies and facilities management within the education sector. Customer service-oriented disposition with a track record of success in a sales capacity. Work Environment: Remote/home office-based position. Up to 75% travel, including occasional trips to headquarters in Beaverton, OR, and participation in national/international trade shows.
