A Director of UX Design is needed for an Interactive Digital Agency looking to add Design Leadership to their company due to excessive growth of their clientele, and more brand recognition nationally. You?ll join a growing company that helps startups and Fortune 1000 companies alike. This company leverages the newest technologies to provide added value to their clients, and they need someone who can work any part of the UX/UI Process from Research, to Strategy, to Managing Visual Implementation.
This role will be 50% Guiding and Managing Teams, 20% Team Collaboration, and 30% Hands-On Design Research and Strategy. You?re more than welcome to also participate in Visual Design, but you?ll have the option to oversee that part of the design process. You?ll need experience working with various parts of the business like Product Management, Scrum, and Frontend Development Teams. You?ll be directing teams composed of UI/UX Designers, and the ideal candidate will have 7+ Years? Experience in UI/UX Design, with at least 3 Years in a Leadership/ Management position. You?ll also need experience in the Gaming or eSports space. Work remotely for now and on-site in LA in the future.
Required Skills & Experience
* 7+ Years? Experience as a UI/UX Designer
* Experience working at a Design Agency or Consultancy
* Ability to act as a client facing asset to companies
* 3+ Years? Experience as a Manager / Director in UI/UX Design
* Expert in every part of the Design Lifecycle
* Ability to manage and grow the skill set a team of UX Designers
* Ability to Manage UX Research Projects and keep teams on task and held responsible
* Ability to develop several user personas, driven by UX Research
* Experience in Figma and Sketch in the past, as well as the Creative Suite
* Experience working with both Web and Native Mobile Products
* Delightful portfolio with an emphasis on clean design
* Clear communication, and Strong People and Project Management Skills
Desired Skills & Experience
* Bachelors? or Masters? Degree in Human Computer Interaction Preferred
