Position: Director of Sustainability
– Corporate Real Estate Job Description: Arrow is seeking an experienced Director of Sustainability – Corporate Real Estate whose primary responsibility is to oversee identify and implement industry standard methodologies across Arrow’s Real Estate portfolio.

This role will be chartered to benchmark Arrow’s current global Facilities environment and sustainability performance levels against world class, perform gap/opportunity analysis, and development of short/long term implementation plans to generate improved performance, value and total cost of ownership across Arrow’s global Facilities network.

The Director will guide and steward strategy, implementation and management of corporate and asset level environmental and sustainability strategy, engagement with internal and external stakeholders, environmental efficiency initiatives and performance.

Your areas of experience shall also include existing buildings and new development construction and facilities management, ESG reporting, corporate social responsibility, climate resilience and risk mitigation and adaptation, net zero, decarbonization and renewable energy, building energy and water efficiency, waste management and emissions reduction strategies.

What You’ll Be Doing: Lead detailed evaluation of emerging technologies and opportunities for alternative energy sourcing opportunities that best meet the various asset classes.

Support implementation of newest technologies aimed at improving energy efficiency and consumption, environmental impact, and conceptualize cost savings opportunities.

Carry out broad and complex assignments requiring comprehensive knowledge related to energy efficiency, renewable/carbon offsets and sustainability services offered by the Global Energy and Sustainability platform.

Managing relationships and setting expectations with sustainability and ESG teams, asset managers, property managers, and project teams.

What You’ll Need: 10
– 15 years of experience in the areas of Real Estate Portfolio, Facilities, Construction, and Sustainability management Undergraduate B.A.

or B.S.

degree.

Masters degree a plus.

Educational focus in Sustainability preferred.

Professional credentials and licenses such as LEED AP, CEM etc.

Ability to manage, manipulate and analyze utility billing and usage data (energy, water, waste, emissions) Proficiency with green building and building health certification rating systems including LEED, ENERGY STAR, BREEAM, Fitwel, WELL, etc.

Advanced verbal and written communications skills as well as the ability to educate, persuade and inspire people into action.

Strong project management and cross-functional team management skills, process focused and keen ability to manage through influence.

Be able to prioritize, multitask and deliver high-quality work in tight timeframes.

Demonstrated experience working directly with senior executives and collaborate effectively with people across geographies, cultures, functions, and all levels of seniority.

Ability to work independently with ambiguity to drive solutions.

High level of attention to detail and ability to think strategically and innovatively.

High level of personal drive.

A consummate team player with impeccable ethics and integrity.

Well-developed financial skills including cost management, budgeting and financial analysis.

Excellent written and verbal communications skills.

Ability to write reports, business correspondence, procedure manuals, and prepare presentations and proposals.

Must possess ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, employees and customers.

Proficiency in the MS Office suite with emphasis on Excel, Word and PowerPoint is required.
