The Role As a member of this team, you’ll be responsible for complete sets of documentation for field surveys of all types including as-builts, BOMA and ADA. You will be responsible for requests from clients inside and outside SAA for area calculations, marketing exhibits, control plans and BOMA guidance. What We’re Looking For We’re looking for someone who is competent, willing and able to make decisions, take the bull by the horns and work hard. Other things we like to see: Competent in all conventional aspects of field surveys, as-builts, BOMA and ADA Exercises independent judgment in evaluation, selection and use of standard techniques Solves problems when encountered and receives guidance on complex projects Professional writing/communication skills with clients Review code requirements and city requirements for each project and coordinate with team to implement/meet ADA codes Acts as main point of contact on certain project and can manage client expectations. Can demise spaces and know to look at the residual. Can QC drawings Has knowledge of exiting and ADA codes Estimate fees, determines scope of work and prepares project based work authorizations for review with PM Organizes production tasks for outsourcing or assignment to assistant designers; supervises outsourcing for projects Prepares WA’s Understanding of project schedule and has the ability to prepare a basic timeline. Can communicate effectively with clients Drive business by excellent customer service and quality control Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Position Type/Expected Work Hours This is an Exempt Full-Time position. Typical days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. Travel Travel may include attending off site meetings and work sessions in other local SAA Offices. Mileage will be reimbursed at predetermined market rate.
