You are reading.

In front of you there is a large body of water with 21,000 video creators from around the world.
Some are doing laps, working hard and thriving; others are bobbing about buoyed by floaties, not so confident in their breaststrokes; some have managed to find their way onto jet skis and are launching into aerials, making waves for the others; and well…, some are just doggy paddling, barely staying afloat.
Maybe even trying to swim ashore.
This is our sea of MagicLinks Influencers.
And if you look out even farther along the horizon, there are 1 million more…divers, synchronized swimmers, floaters, doggy paddlers, aerialists…
high potential influencers.

You are the conductor of this oceanic experience and your goal is to get as many of these 21k + 1M beloved creators at the helm of our modern day Titanic (but not the kind that sinks; oh no, we’re talking Larry Ellison superyacht style).

Expectations of this Role
Develop, nurture, grow, and recruit a world class influencer team with KPIs tied to: influencers, talent agencies, management companies, and platforms specifically focused on video content creation Lead strategy and innovation for our creator talent team, discovering and putting into motion new value opportunities for our 3 key segments: influencers, brands, and consumers Build and maintain relationships with key influencers, talent agencies, managers, and industry thought leaders Use data and creative direction to activate and inspire our communities through online and offline Work closely with Brand, Marketing, Creative, and Tech teams to drive extraordinary results for our partners and efficiencies within our internal processes
You are:
An ever-evolving professional with 7+ years of experience with influencer marketing, a global and entrepreneurial mindset, and a successful track record of leading outstanding business results through innovative strategies Experienced in YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok as well as emerging platforms including TikTok, Clubhouse, Community, and/or Triller; and well-versed in international platforms and experiences, including live shopping Someone with deep relationships with both influencers and the world’s leading talent agencies; and/or ability to build them quickly at scale A data driven, brand conscious leader who uses both art and science to drive industry leading performance results.
Highly proficient at using data to make business decisions, frame new opportunities for leadership, and achieve quarterly goals.
A highly motivated self-starter, and mental athlete, capable of producing high quality work while adhering to oftentimes very tight turnaround times in an exciting and fast-moving start-up environment Comfortable wearing multiple hats in a startup environment.
You can both execute independently and lead the work of others An articulate and engaging individual, demonstrating excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Have solid negotiating skills, and an ability to create win/win, long-term relationships based on outstanding structure and performance of campaigns
