DIRECTOR OF BUSINESS STRATEGY Consulting Industry-Wealth Management SpaceSalary DOEBonus/Great BenefitsThis strategic position works on identifying and executing key initiatives to grow independent Advisor Sales.

Works with Director of Strategy, Marketing, and Client Experience to help develop and execute Company’s transformation agenda by leading the implementation of growth projects and providing leadership and guidance to functional areas involved in Company transformation such as salesforce, portfolio management, analytics, and sales to ensure cohesion across functions.

This position requires a multi-faceted leader with a diverse skillset spanning multiple strategic marketing disciplines with a focus on developing actionable, data-driven insights that drive revenue and operational efficiencies.

Must be capable of identifying strategic initiatives across growth and efficiency spectrums and influencing a cross-functional team to drive implementation, adoption, and tracking.As a member of Client, the company’s Wealth Management group, you will provide white-glove service focused on intelligently personalized portfolio management for high-net-worth individuals, families, and institutions.Responsibilities will include:
● Support the Director of SMX with Advisor Growth and Business Initiatives helping set and execute key priorities of Company’s go-to-market strategy
● Create scalable growth advisor initiatives that support the firm’s growth agenda.

Assess competitive landscape to stay current with industry trends and identify forward looking opportunities on which the firm can capitalize.
● Establish strategic priorities on a rolling basis, reassessing status and adjusting plans as necessary.

Monitor company and market performance to determine if strategies need to be adjusted or new strategies should be introduced.
● Assist in developing the company’s future value proposition by leading development of end-to-end business processes to bring new services and capabilities to meet existing and latent needs of Advisors and Clients.
● Assist in developing and implementing thought leadership and the strategic frameworks that will guide the transformation of the firm (i.E., Segmentation frameworks – FA quadrants, product “tiering”, etc.)
● Help promote the strategic transformation of the firm by: Connecting with frontline teams to understand their perspectives and challenges.

Emphasize and help align the key functions of planning, transformation, process improvement, and client experience and technology.
● Partner and guide a decision science associate to drive analytic tracking and modeling initiatives that improve overall business profitability through growth related insights, segmentation modeling, and other analytically derived strategies.
● Demonstrate the change ready mindset required for the transformation – and in the process help change the pace, energy and mindset across the stakeholders at the firm
● Must be capable of visually articulating strategic priorities and frameworks for presentation across multiple forums both internally and externally and across all levels.
● Partner with Marketing and CX colleagues to deliver insights and oversee implementation of advisor growth programs.Qualifications will include:Must-Have
● Master’s Degree MBA with a focus in Marketing and Strategy
● 10-15 years of management experience including business development, marketing, client experience, go-to-market strategies, building sales and marketing systems and client relationships.
● 3-5 years of experience in investment management or management consulting with a strong focus on marketing, strategy, and transformation.
● 3-5 years of management experienceSkills and Knowledge
● Prior experience within wealth management or private banking is highly preferred as is prior consulting experience
● Demonstrated skill set/capabilities in sales, marketing, client experience, business development, analytics, and CRM
● Proven track record of successfully managing cross-functional and individual teams to drive business improvements
● Capability to conceptualize, develop and implement business systems that help implement strategic initiatives
● Deep understanding and hands-on experience in marketing strategy development and implementation
● Strong presence and communication skills; relationship builder with strong problem solving, execution oriented and ability to influence and drive change.
● Demonstrate domain knowledge and expertise in a range of skills, such as go-to market strategies, relationship management, business analytics, client/market research etc.
● Demonstrated success in establishing and fostering relationships with internal and external partners and clients
● Experience in organizing, managing, and leading large scale workshops across cross-functional teams involving brainstorming, ideating and value proposition development
● Expertise in project managing complex, cross-functional, cross-organizational projects
● Strategic thinking and innovative mindset.
