Director, Marketing Insights And Analytics

FOX Sports is searching for a Director of Marketing Insights and Analytics to join their team in Los Angeles.

In this role you will analyze marketing and media campaign performance and provide insights for various groups within the Marketing Department including Media, Brand, On-Air Strategy and Creative to build successful marketing campaigns for some of the top properties in the FOX Sports portfolio including the NFL, World Cup, College Football, PBC PPVs, MLB, NASCAR and more.

You will need to be forward-thinking, inquisitive, analytical and be able to derive relevant, actionable insights from various sources that ultimately drive increased linear and digital viewership.

This position will report to the VP, Media & Brand Marketing and will collaborate with several departments within FOX, the media AOR and other 3rd Party partners.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Utilize a variety of resources (Nielsen, comScore, Adobe Analytics, Kantar, etc.) to develop and maintain reports that evaluate marketing and media efforts
Work with internal teams and external partners to maximize revenue from pay-per-events using digital conversion tactics
Identify, stay current on, and educate media industry and consumer behavioral/viewership trends
Collect and summarize findings from ratings and marketing efforts, using data visualization techniques to share results and provide strategic recommendations to key stakeholders
Identify areas of opportunity targets and build audience segmentations
Work with media AOR and internal stakeholders on A/B testing of creative and/or media tactics
Assist media team and media AOR on development and use of multi-touch attribution tools to understand value of owned, earned, and paid media
Collaborate on various quantitative and qualitative research projects as necessary

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

6+ years of relevant experience, preferably with TV Network or Streaming platform
Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to think strategically
Working knowledge of TV ratings, viewership data, and media math
Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; creating Pivot tables to summarize data when necessary
Experience with Nielsen suite of products, comScore and Adobe/Google Analytics
Familiarity with platforms like MRI-Simmons, YouGov and iSpot, etc., as well as social listening tools

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Statistics, or Economics
